Our clients range from young women, through motherhood to seniors in their 90’s –it works for any lady who wants to tone up and get back in shape. Most ladies join after having had a baby or when they have put on the inches, often without realising it and now feel that their body shape is a lost cause. It is not!!</p>

Many of our ladies would not want to visit a traditional gym but like the opportunity to exercise regularly for health and weight reasons. In our centers you come as you are! There is no need to change into special clothing, just wear something comfortable that you can move around in. All you need is a pair of socks and a towel. The machines help you do the rest!</p>
<p>We have exercise physiologists on our team who have helped to develop the machines and the exercise programs used all over the World.</p>
<p>We aim to ensure you get the best benefit from your 45 minute program. Our aim is to help support and encourage you to meet the goals you choose but no pressure – if you don’t feel like putting in the some extra effort then let the machines take the strain. The 45 minute exercise routines can be slotted in at any time of the day.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The World&#8217;s Biggest Coffee Morning is Macmillan Cancer Support&#8217;s biggest fundraising event. We ask people across the UK &#8211; and sometimes further afield &#8211; to hold a coffee morning, where donations on the day are made to Macmillan.</p>

<h2>How did it start?</h2>
<p>The event started in 1990, when a local fundraising committee decided to hold a coffee morning where people came along to meet and mingle &#8211; as they might ordinarily do &#8211; but donate the cost of their coffee to Macmillan in the process.</p>
<p>The idea seemed such a simple, yet effective one that they suggested the model be taken up nationally. The first National World’s Biggest Coffee Morning was in 1991, when 2,600 people registered to hold coffee mornings across the country. Since then it has raised over £60 million in total for Macmillan Cancer Support.</p>

<p>We want our supporters to do whatever suits them &#8211; and have fun doing it. Whether it&#8217;s a traditional coffee morning at home, work or school, or something different altogether – a garden party, pub quiz, or karaoke night &#8211; the main thing is getting together with friends and knowing that your collective efforts are making a huge difference to people affected by cancer.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Although aerobic activities like running and cycling burn more calories than weightlifting, it is entirely possible to use free weights to lose weight. Using free weights several times a week will build muscle, which will in turn speed up your metabolism (because muscle tissue burns more calories than fat tissue). Diet and aerobic exercise will still play an important part in your weight loss program, but building muscles with free weights will help you lose weight more quickly and keep it off long-term.</p>
<p>Make your free weight workout a fat-burning session by doing 15 minutes of aerobic activity before you begin lifting weights. Run, bicycle or do Jazzercise to get your heart rate up to its optimal fat-burning level. Once you&#8217;re in the target zone, you can stay there by doing reps more quickly and skipping the normal 2-minute rest period between sets.</p>
<p>Use free weights to lose weight by concentrating on large muscle groups rather than individual muscles. You can use a barbell to do a quick series of bench presses and burn more calories than you would doing dumbbell curls, for instance. To do a bench press, lie with your entire torso on a bench and your feet planted firmly on the floor. Hold the barbell against your chest with palms underneath the bar. Lift the barbell by extending your arms until they are straight and lowering them again with resistance.</p>
<p>Work out with free weights at least three times per week. A schedule of alternating days will help you build muscles more quickly by giving them time to rest in between workouts. Remember: your muscles will continue using extra calories even when they are at rest.</p>
<p>Choose free weights that are heavy enough to tire out your muscles. You should not be able to do more than 15 reps per set, and you should need to rest between sets.</p>
<p>Burn more calories during step aerobics by strapping 2 lb weights to your ankles and wrists. Adding weights during aerobic exercise helps boost your body&#8217;s metabolism, helping you get past weight loss plateaus.</p>

They will help even the least fit of women to lose inches, tone muscle, gain energy and feel good!</p>

Our clients range from young women, through motherhood to seniors in their 90’s –it works for any lady who wants to tone up and get back in shape. Many of our ladies would not want to visit a traditional gym but like the opportunity to exercise regularly for health and weight reasons. In our centers you come as you are! There is no need to change into special clothing, just wear something comfortable that you can move around in. All you need is a pair of socks and a towel. The machines help you do the rest!</p>
<p>We have exercise physiologists on our team who have helped to develop the machines and the exercise programs used all over the World.</p>
<p>We aim to ensure you get the best benefit from your 30 minute program. Our aim is to help support and encourage you to meet the goals you choose but no pressure – if you don’t feel like putting in the some extra effort then let the machines take the strain. The 30 minute exercise routines can be slotted in at any time of the day.</p>
<p>After you’ve exercised you go shopping, work, and pick up the kids -so easy- no need to shower or change!” We have re assessments after every 12 visits and will support you every step of the way to regaining the fitness you want and deserve.
